David is a transportation planner and Chartered Professional Engineer (Australia) who combines technical expertise with strategic thinking to create urban streets and places that are more sustainable, safe, inclusive and liveable.

Leading high-profile projects across several countries, David specialises in translating policy objectives into deliverable options and action plans, taking an evidence-based approach informed by stakeholder aspirations.

At Steer, David’s project highlights include making the case for the transformation of the UK’s busiest shopping street (Oxford Street in London); driving best practices for examining the equity implications of transportation projects; and innovative data analysis that enables a more proactive approach to road safety. David has also worked on many high-profile streets in Canada, including Yonge Street in Toronto, Water Street in Vancouver and Government Street in Victoria.
